Do you do appraisals on-site?

All appraisals are completed on-site by a graduate gemologist (Carlsbad California GIA headquarters).

How much do you charge for appraisals?

Appraisals are on average $150.00 plus tax and come with a complete cleaning and polishing. Prices can be more than this and when submitting many items (more than five), there will be a discounted price.

Do I have to leave the item?

Yes, all items have to be left behind for proper and lengthy examination. A receipt will be given with a detailed description of the claim ticket. Appraisals can be completed within 2-3 business days.

Are there different types of appraisals?

Yes, we offer Jewellery appraisals that describe the quality, condition, characteristics, and full details of metal and gems with a picture and a price. Prices calculations can be completed as follows.
